Day 5 - Already?

Five days in to this and I'm learning there are better choices for food so I can eat more and still stay under 1500 caloric intake.  This pleases me more than I could ever express.  Did I mention I LOVE food?  I've given up my morning pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches and replaced them with my hash browns, egg and cheese fried up with the 0 calorie cooking spray.  It takes much longer to cook but is way more filling.  On days when Kyle drags me to the gym kicking and screaming ;) I will munch on a Special K bar before just so I don't get light headed and pass out, then have my hash, egg and cheese when I get home.

Tonight I had planned on walking with my sister and her dogs but by the time I got to her place it had gotten really cold and had started spitting (or sprinkling as the weatherman likes to call it).  By the time I had left 45 minutes later it was raining steady.  While at my sister's I learned a very valuable bit of information.  1/4 of a 3 meat and 3 cheese calzone is 290 calories while a 1c bowl of mac and cheese is 240 calories.  I have to say, I will take the calzone every time.

Alright, on with the number crunches (get it?  it's a workout joke!)...

  1. Just an FYI, vegetables are nearly calorie free. You can pretty much eat as much of those as you would like. More would not be a bad thing to include :)
