ENOUGH WITH THE RAIN ALREADY!

I thought this junk was done for the day.  :(  Stuck at the library until it's over.  Walked over because it was a gorgeous day, brought my laptop because the library computers don't accept jump drives and that is where I'm storing my blog entries, didn't bother to bring an umbrella since the sun was shining, I don't think my computer case is waterproof and I lost my jump drive that had all of my music on it.  LOVELY!  And how is your week starting off?

You are NEVER going to guess what I did today.  Not in a MILLION YEARS will you guess!  I am so ecstatic right now it is inconceivable!  I jogged over ¼ mile.  Granted, it was in short 1/16 mile bursts but the point is, I DID IT!  I haven’t run any sort of distance without puking in… I can’t even remember, that’s how long it’s been!  I could have cried… but I was to worn out. 

I decided to do my walk on the old school track today.  I started off walking at the East turn, walked backward the North straight, decided to try jogging thru the West turn, walked forward the South straight, continued walking backward on the North straight, forward on the South straight and jogged at both East and West turns.

While it still doesn’t make up for the Oreo fiasco it is a great start!  I’ll take it!!

Stopped by the library to post to my blog tonight and found their computers don’t have the USB port so I will have to take my computer over there and do it tomorrow.  One more week and I should have internet at home again.  Almost as exciting as jogging ¼ mile!

Side note:  Any thoughts as to why I keep ‘slipping’?

Not my greatest day.  I opened the Oreo’s I had been saving for a special treat.  Enough said? L

What kills me is I didn’t get my weigh in and I didn’t work out enough to cover the cookies… and I did the workout earlier in the day and the cookies came later in the day.  This is more than a slip, this was a landslide!  Maybe kicking my own butt will help work off some more of the calories.

I won’t keep you.  I’m too ashamed.  I will just have to make up for it.

I will be taking my computer to be cleaned up so it is ready for the new semester.  I won’t be able to post until it is done – I am going to guess may take until Monday.  I will make sure to keep up with my blog on my iPod’s notepad function so I don’t forget anything and will post again when I have my laptop back.

Another gorgeous day for being outside.  Hopefully the weather reports are wrong and this beautiful sunshine will stick around for a while.  I really don’t want to get drenched on my walk to the clinic for weigh in tomorrow.

I’m still a little worn out from the last two days but managed to change it up a bit and work in weights and Pilates rather than walking.  I am thinking of walking later tonight once my muscles have a chance to rest.  That plank move SUCKS!  But I am seeing a lot of really good results.

I’m not sure if you’ll notice but I’ve been eating a lot of pickles lately.  That is because I found they are calorie free - it doesn’t hurt that I am addicted to them.  Also, the honey lemon tea I was informed helps with reducing water retention.  I’m all for that!

  1. Not too shabby :) I've done the oreo binge as well :p Although I'm not a mint fan. Peanut butter with soy milk is more my style.
