Wow, didn't realize it had been so long since I posted! Sorry!

Yes, I am still alive.  Some days I regret that fact but it remains unchanging.  I will try to stay updated more but without internet at home it's difficult.  With my truck out of service for the moment and of course the rain it's difficult to take the laptop to the library and of course that is where all of my posts are saved.

Ok, enough excuses, you have enough to read without me adding another chapter.  Hope all is going well for you!

Happy Birthday to my big sister Kristine!  She be getting old! lol

As for my day, I am hurting from my workout yesterday but managed to get through another one today… and now wouldn’t mind dying, omg I hurt!  On the plus side, I can feel and am starting to see the ‘heart’ in my calves again, my arms are getting smaller and more toned and my back is tightening up and the rolls are getting smaller.  I am starting to see my old body and am getting excited for the return.

(Morning blogging) I slept through my weigh-in so will head over Monday.  I hate to say it but I’m starting to get bored with this routine.  Not sure how to change things up but it needs to happen.  I’m going for a walk later, hoping it will stop raining so I don’t get drenched but either way I will be taking that walk.

I keep seeing these commercials for massage therapy and I’m getting extremely jealous.  Not only has that been my dream job since I was 9 years old but I WANT ONE! L  lol oh well, I’ll get over it… eventually.

I didn’t get much of anything done today.  Made a batch of chocolate chip cookies for the neighbor, watched a bunch of TV, helped move my roommate’s stuff to her new place and baked a new recipe of cake I was told is on the Weight Watcher’s list of low calorie snacks.  1 can of diet soda and one prepackaged chocolate cake mix.  Low calorie and tastes great!  Sadly it didn’t help me with my calorie intake.  Not kicking myself, I am down 41 pounds and am actually SEEING results which is what keeps me going.

Long story short (becoming a recurrence), spent the night at moms and didn’t get home until around 1:30p.  Unloaded my truck and began putting things away.  7 hours of unpacking, washing and putting things away… and I STILL have my chair to clean. L

On the bright site, I did get my paperwork to SDSU so my 2011-2012 school year is covered and I will not have to stress over funding this fall or in the spring.

I’m definitely keeping it short tonight.  With my roommates gone I am without furniture so on my trip to Watertown I stopped at my storage unit to pick up some of my stuff.  Then I went to visit my mom and sister.  We took my sister’s dogs for a walk and then my sister decided to toss them into the pool and they climbed out and took off.  We spent over 2 hours looking for them (without luck, they are still missing) and while my sister and mom went out in the car I worked on watering the garden and potted plants.  Let’s just say I am a bit sore.  Long story short, me for bed!

It was kind of a depressing day today.  I found out I will not be allowed to receive credits for my trip in July because the head of the department doesn’t understand how working at a conservation station in Australia would count toward a BA in Communications.  REALLY?!?  First being the language differences.  Learning the lingo in order to effectively communicate with the employees of the station as well as getting around in a foreign country not to mention learning about their economy through the currency differences, learning about their culture, and living among the citizens even if only for two weeks, there has GOT to be something about that to tie into my major.  However, this was not the excuse not to allow me the credits, the date of return and the fact that she would have to cut into her vacation in order to grade my work seem to be the determining factors.  NICE! L

On top of that the chains and locks were replaced at the tennis courts so now I have to walk all the way around the freaking courts in order to get to the practice court.  WTH!!!  Stupid freaking Tennis Association doesn’t want skateboarders and kids on bikes messing up their courts.  HELLO!  They can finagle their way through the gate with the loose chain (to allow tennis players access in the off hours) WITH their bike/skateboard.  You slow their escape but they will get in there if they really want to.

On the up side J I received my final project pictures back and they look AMAZING!  I kind of shocked myself this time around.  One of the pictures looks just like the reference picture which wasn’t available to me during the application process.  LOVE IT!!  So proud I even displayed one on my fridge.

One of my roommates noticed my costume crafts project (a donkey head puppet) and said “what the heck is THAT?!?” then laughed when she realized it was supposed to be a winking donkey with pink earrings, a diamond nose ring.  Yes, I did say winking.  With beautiful long eyelashes and everything.
